Great ReceptionOur small kitchen tv had been cutting out with our rabbit ears antenna. It was getting so frustrating to watch. This antenna arrived quickly and was easy to set up. I liked the fact that it also has a power cord for the amplifier in case your tv does not have a usb port.I held the antenna in the window as I scanned for channels. I then moved it in the window and checked the signal strength through the tv menu. I found it to receive a stronger signal when positioned lower on the window so the overhang did not block it.I have been very pleased with the improved reception. The tv has not cut out at all like it used to. The stickers have been holding it to the window and since it is a north facing window, it will not get any direct sunlight.I also like that it makes the tv set up look so much cleaner, no more rabbit ears extended up to the ceiling or pointed out the window.
Try this for free channels. Why pay for regular channels? I am super pleased with this TV antenna. I stuck it on the window as suggested and I get every single free view channel and all the HD channels. I use it on the first floor, and I can receive about 65 channels(it depends on where you live). The pictures below show exactly the quality of images.
AWESOME EASY - Love it!I just recently "cut the cable"when I moved. Having been immersed in the world of satellite and cable TV for over 20 years, I have to admit I was a bit clueless about how to go about it. I got my Amazon Prime- check, Netflix-check, Hulu-check. Now how the heck do I go about watching my local channels without having to subscribe to a provider? I happened upon a "Cut the Cable" website and there it was- dud! Get an antenna! Go figure.....So, I searched through Amazon and found this amazing little device. Hey- I was expecting rabbit ears (told you I was out of touch). Here's this nifty antenna- a little larger than a mouse pad and and thinner. So! I plugged this little gem into my antenna thingy on my TV- set the find channels. Seriously the set up was so easy and in about 5 minutes I got over 100 channels- and of course- my local channels all for free. Glorious day! The HD channels were HD! I am giving it 5 stars because this is also very inexpensive and arrived to me in just 2 days. Now I am truly cable-less and loving it! I truly recommend this product. Just as I was ready to delve into all these neat new channels I suffered a power outage that lasted longer than the time it took them to ship the antenna to me-that's another story....
I was completely surprised at how well this works where other units failed completely.I had really low expectations of this unit having had poor results with other indoor antennas. It was inexpensive enough and had other good rating that I figured I would give it a try. Well, I have to say that I was blown away with how well this works.I have it mounted on a window in my basement. It is pointing at a line of trees and the window is under my deck. I hooked it up to the TV and started a channel scan thinking, it won't get a single channel. Much to my surprise it locked in on 27 channels. Yes, some are sub-channels but I am genuinely impressed. 90% of them are great picture, some pixelation on the remaining 5%.
