  3. Replaced my Fitbit.

    80%
This replaced my Fitbit. I was having charging problems and syncing problems with my Fitbit. In less than a year, it was no longer working. The Fitness Tracker works 100% better than a Fitbit. They only issue I had is that the Bluetooth function overrode my cell phone's Bluetooth in my car. I ended up "unpairing" the Fitness Tracker, so I no longer have all of the history that the Tracker keeps. While disappointing, it is not a huge issue for me.

  10. Great price but your phone battery will suffer!

My 9 year old son wanted a fancy fitness tracker for his birthday, the name brand one, but there was no way I was spending that kind of money on a kid that loses EVERYTHING! When I saw this I was thrilled with the price. The tracker seems to work accurately, but I did not find it intuitive to use at first and the directions didn't clear up any of my questions. The display can be altered to read vertically or horizontally through the App. It's been a little sluggish when I try to sync it for him, but we don't do it often and really he just wants to tell me how many steps he has taken all the time so it doesn't matter. It does not have a touch screen but rather a touch "button" or spot on the face of the tracker. You tap that to move through the different readings (time... steps... calories... etc.). The confusing part to me was the Sport Mode. When you hold your finger on the button for 3 full seconds when it is showing you the little running man, it switches to sports mode. This automatically starts a stopwatch, and gives you a new count on your steps and calories. Basically this mode lets you separate your data from your day-long data. Kind of like when you reset the trip odometer in your car if that makes sense...? I found the sport mode confusing until I figured this out, so I thought that might be helpful for some. When you are done with sport mode you hold your finger on the button again for 3 seconds to get out of sport mode which then clears the stop watch and all the other data from sport mode. This brings you back to the day-long data that you have been continuously keeping. Once I figured this all out, I decided it was a pretty good little tracker for the price and for a 9 year old that just wants to feel cool! But there is one more flaw that I realized. You must install the app on your phone, no iPads or tablets. Well I didn't realize for awhile, but the battery on my phone is draining super fast every day. I usually only charge my phone once a day. Since installing this app I have been doing it 2 or 3 times a day. I have the bluetooth on my phone turned off so its not constantly trying to sync with the watch but it doesn't matter. I have also double checked that the app is "off" on my phone. So this is a little frustrating. I am considering taking it off my phone once the novelty of the tracker has worn off for him, and just reinstalling it when he needs to re-sync the time and stuff.
